STOOS and Rijnlands in practice. At our kitchen table.

At this moment my son Lars is being interviewed by our Canadian friend Dawna Jones. He is triggered to speak about his experience with the Youth Peer Community www.SquibS.nl that he is involved in.

This morning they both skyped with a lady in Australia about Lars being one of the ambassadors of World Leadership Day. Something Dwana's daughter Lindsey is also connected with.

SquibS is a Foundation started by my wife Anita and Wynand, wanting to have a safe community where Smart Gifted Kids can learn to excel as a human, not as a productive machine. (Shortly spoken.)

We met Dawna at the STOOS Stampede in Amsterdam this summer and she has stayed with us several times since then. Her mission is to create a better world by empowering Youth and to build Golden Bridges between early adapters, high potentials and the people in charge wright now.

Yesterday Dawna spoke at the www.StoosConnect.nl event, again in Amsterdam. Together with Jaap Peters, one of my Dutch partners and frontman in trying to get organisations understand new ways of organizing. We Dutch call  Rijnlands, or Rhenish, coverd by our NetBrand "DeLimes".

Here different worlds meet. The Agile movement covered in STOOS and our organisation development wishes. Being Agile in stead of Doing Agile is what DeLimes means by doing Rhenish. The principles are alike.  As I earlier explained in my blog dated august 6. http://erickwuestman.blogspot.nl/2012/08/what-do-we-gain-by-making-organizations.html

It's nice to see that what happens today in our kitchen is connecting most of the dots of my life.
And it involves all the good things I am looking for.

I think that is what comes forward once things start to fall into place.
And it shows that it is not limited by frontiers or borders. And should we call it a movement, or what is it? I don't know, it just fits in perfectly with what we as a family try to accomplish. And it is nice to see that my 18 year old son seems to grow up finding his way in connecting his dots also. His horizon is much broader than mine was at his age. Although I am quite proud of my view at that time, this is a nice step forward.
